SAPD: Ex-worker stole from downtown nightclub

Euvense Saldivar, 25, charged with burglary

SAN ANTONIO – A 25-year-old man is facing a burglary charge after he allegedly broke into the office of a nightclub where he used to work and stole money from it.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Euvense Saldivar originally had gone to The Saint nightclub on June 6 to talk to a manager and ask for his old job back.

The manager told Saldivar, who had been fired, that he did not have any positions available for him, the affidavit stated.

At some point later, the club's disc jockey told the manager that someone had kicked in the door of the office.

San Antonio police were called to the business and reviewed surveillance video which they said shows Saldivar kicking open the door, the affidavit stated.

Police believe that while he was inside the office, Saldivar also stole $140.

Investigators said they have tried several times to contact him by phone and in person but have been unable to do so.

Saldivar was arrested Saturday on a burglary charge.
