Reward offered for suspect info in teen's death from 2007
Crime Stoppers: Gunman who shot, killed Joe Trevino still sought
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the identity and location of the gunman who shot and killed a 16-year-old boy outside a party in 2007.
Police said Joe Trevino, 16, was at a party around 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in the 300 block of Landa Avenue.
An argument ensued over beer among many of the party attendees. Police said the party host threw out some uninvited guests and another argument began outside.
Shots were fired towards Trevino and a crowd. Police said Trevino was wounded and died of his injuries.
Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for Trevino's death. Call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867). Police said tipsters can remain anonymous.
