Man featured on Crime Fighters Takedown Day arrested

Michael Patlan arrested on retaliation charge

SAN ANTONIO – Police had been looking for Michael Patlan for more than a year and a half.

After he was one of 42 fugitives featured last week during KSAT-12's Crime Fighters Takedown Day, tips led to his arrest on a retaliation charge.

Back in March of 2013, Patlan allegedly told a man that "he better not show up for court to press charges against his brother." A police report said Patlan then pulled out a silver handgun from his trunk and made the threat a second time.

The victim told police Patlan's brother had tried to stab him with a knife in February of 2013.

KSAT-12 teamed up with the San Antonio Police Department, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service for the second time this year to ask for help to find people wanted for various crimes.

On Nov. 12, Patlan's picture – along with dozens of others – was featured on KSAT-12's newscasts and online. Police had received tips about Patlan's whereabouts that day. He was arrested around 7 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Patlan's arrest brings the total number of featured fugitives caught or located to eight.

These fugitives have not been captured or located.
