Men ransack woman's home, steal car

Suspects sought in home invasion on NE Side

SAN ANTONIO – A group of men are sought by San Antonio police in connection with a home invasion on the Northeast Side early Wednesday morning.

According to a preliminary report by SAPD, the incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. at a home on Castle Sword.

The victim told police she was home alone asleep in her bedroom and suddenly heard a man tell her to lay face down and don't move.

The victim said the suspect along with some other men ransacked her home, stole her cell phone and a car that was parked in the driveway.

She said she caught a quick glimpse of the suspects and noticed they were carrying hand guns and their faces were covered with ski masks.

The men fled in the stolen car. The report did not indicate whether the victim was injured.

A description of the victim's black 2004 Kia Spectra was put out to officers, but no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call San Antonio police.
