1 injured in West Side driveby shooting

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a driveby shooting on the city's West Side that sent one woman to the hospital.

The shooting happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Rita Avenue and Benrus Drive.

Police said someone fired four or five shots into a white SUV, hitting a passenger. 

The woman in the white SUV was rushed to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A man was questioned by police about the shooting.

Police are still searching for at least three people wanted in connection to the shooting.
