SAPD: Man admits to burglaries, points out targeted homes

Jesse Rabago, 19, may face additional charges

SAN ANTONIO – A suspect identified as Jesse Rabago, 19, is facing charges in a home burglary after San Antonio police detectives found evidence from that case inside his home while investigating a separate break-in, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit stated that police were searching his home for property taken from a home in the 2100 block of Minnow Lane on Oct. 9 when they found property from several other homes.

That included items from one that had just been burglarized in the 1500 block of W. Misteltoe Avenue, the affidavit stated.

Police said they identified Rabago as a suspect in the Minnow Lane burglary after someone recorded the license plate number on his getaway car.

The affidavit stated that during questioning, Rabago admitted to committing the crimes with another man, telling detectives that they would hit two homes per day, twice per week.

They said he also drove around with detectives and pointed out the homes they had hit, offering details that only the burglar would know, the affidavit stated.

Rabago was charged Tuesday in connection with the W. Mistletoe burglary. However, it appears he could face additional charges.
