Cars, building damaged during shooting spree

Shooting happened near 8100 block of Glen Mont Drive

SAN ANTONIO – More then 30 rounds were fired in a drive-by shooting, hitting car windows, tires and a nearby four-plex in Northeast Bexar County.

Sheriff investigators said the shooting happened at around 7 p.m. in the 8100 block of Glen Mont Drive. Deputies said this is the second time shots were fired in one night.

"They're still in the process of counting but it was over 30. The building was hit several times, (also) three vehicles that we know of right now are hit," said Sgt. Frank Bellino with the Bexar County Sheriffs Office.

Sheriff deputies are searching for a small white SUV. They believe four to six people were inside the vehicle at the time.

Fortunately no one was injured during the shooting.
