Suspects sought in six arson fires on West Side

Men believed to have set fires to six homes in Gen. McMullen area

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and arson investigators are searching for the suspects responsible for setting half a dozen fires on the West Side.

According to SAPD, the fires were set from Nov. 28 through Dec. 11 in the General McMullen area between Culebra and Castroville Road.

The fires have all been set at abandoned or vacant homes. SAPD officials say the fires were all ignited with gasoline between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Police believe the two suspects are Hispanic men who may be driving a blue or green compact vehicle.

It is possible the suspects live in the general area and know the neighborhood.  

CRIME STOPPERS will pay up to $5,000 for information which leads to an arrest or arrests. Callers can remain anonymous.
