SAN ANTONIO – The city of San Antonio will operate a fireworks hotline New Year's Eve for residents to report illegal fireworks use.
The hotline will run from 6 p.m. to midnight on Dec. 31 for residents to report fireworks use within the city limits, which is illegal.
To make a report, call 210-207-0202 on New Year's Eve.
San Antonio fire inspectors will be patrolling neighborhoods as well.
Residents are encouraged to visit Hemisfair Park to see the fireworks display from the Tower of the Americas at midnight.
