SAN ANTONIO – A man killed early Saturday morning after a guardrail went through his car has been identified.
The medical examiner has identified the man as 23-year-old Michael Tovar.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 10200 block of Southton Road.
Investigators said Tovar was driving northbound when he veered into the southbound lane and crashed into a guardrail.
Tovar died a short time later.
Investigators are working to determine if alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
