Affordable Care Act assistance provided at area libraries

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Public Library is offering Affordable Care Act assistance from now until February.

The certified navigators will be available to assist in finding and enrolling patrons in the best insurance plans for their needs.

The SAPL said the service is provided on a first come, first served basis and could take anywhere from one to two hours.

Navigators will be available at the following branches in December:

 Dec. 22: 12 p.m. at Las Palmas Library (515 Castroville Rd., 78237)

 Dec. 2: 1 p.m. at Johnston Library (6307 Sun Valley, 78227)

 Dec. 23: 12 p.m. at Memorial Library (3222 Culebra Rd., 78228)

 Dec. 23: 2 p.m. at Cortez Library (2803 Hunter Blvd., 78224)

 Dec. 23: 5 p.m. at Tobin Library at Oakwell (4134 Harry Wurzbach Rd., 78209)

 Dec. 27: 10 a.m. at Cody Library (11441 Vance Jackson Rd., 78230)

 Dec. 29: 12 p.m. at Las Palmas Library (515 Castroville Rd., 78237)

 Dec. 29 1 p.m. at Johnston Library (6307 Sun Valley, 78227)

 Dec. 30: 2 p.m. at Cortez Library (2803 Hunter Blvd., 78224)

 Dec. 30: 5 p.m. at Tobin Library at Oakwell (4134 Harry Wurzbach Rd., 78209)
