LYTLE, Texas – The boil water notice has been lifted in Lytle.
According to an email Wednesday morning from the Lytle Police Department, the water supply was deemed safe to drink by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

The notice was issued late Monday after water was restored to about 5,000 residents in the Lytle area following a water main break.
A subcontractor doing some work hit a 13-inch water main, cutting off water to residents.
