Do you have to wear shoes while driving?

It might be a little chilly right now to leave home without shoes, but if you wanted to get behind the wheel with your naked feet you can.

As Sergeant Frank Bellino with the Bear County Sheriff's Office explains, clothing is most definitely not optional.

"State law does not require anybody to wear footwear while they're driving. I didn't see any requirement anywhere except for if you're riding a motorcycle. Then you have to  have footwear on.

There's nothing in the book about clothing. However, it comes under a different law, which would be exposure or disorderly conduct exposure – where you're exposing yourself."
