4 pounds of meth seized in traffic stop

Meth valued at over $200,000

SAN ANTONIO – Four pounds of methamphetamines are now off San Antonio streets thanks to a routine traffic stop by local police.

Officers pulled over a pickup truck near Interstate 10 and Foster Road around 1 p.m. on Monday.

A search by a K-9 unit uncovered the meth, which police said has a street value believed to be over $200,000.

The driver of the truck was taken into custody and could now be facing federal drug charges.
