SAN ANTONIO – Police arrested Stephen Edward Martinez, 25, Tuesday in connection to a shooting during a home invasion on the city's Southeast Side.
Police said Martinez forced his way into a home on Cosgrove Street Sunday night and shot a person in the arm before leaving.
"There was property located at the scene on Cosgrove that pretty much tied Mr. Martinez to the scene putting him there at the location," said Officer Douglas Greene, San Antonio Police Department
Police believe Martinez is connected in several other crimes including another home invasion near Cosgrove 30 minutes prior.
Martinez is charged with aggravated robbery and possession of a weapon.
