Report: Plane from SA slides off Dallas runway

DALLAS – An American Airlines flight that left San Antonio Monday afternoon slid off the runway into the grass at DFW International Aiprort Monday night, according to Dallas' KTVT.

The pilot of Flight 296 was taxiing after the plane landed when the plane slid.

No one was hurt and buses came to get passengers and take them safely to the terminal.

In all, some 1,080 flights were canceled Monday at DFW Airport because of weather, the Associated Press reports.

As a precaution, the airport already canceled 175 flights, inbound and outbound, for Tuesday.
