No one was hurt and buses came to get passengers and take them safely to the terminal.

In all, some 1,080 flights were canceled Monday at DFW Airport because of weather, the Associated Press reports.

As a precaution, the airport already canceled 175 flights, inbound and outbound, for Tuesday.
