SAN ANTONIO – A power outage that forced nearly 200 Losoya Intermediate School students to leave school early on Wednesday has been fixed, according to school officials.
Wednesday morning officials said a transformer melted at the school around 10 a.m. causing a the schoolwide outage. CPS Energy crews were called out and were able to restore power to the school around 2:15 p.m.
CPS has not released the exact cause of the power outage as of Wednesday evening.
No students were ever in any danger.
