Second suspect in car wash shooting extradited to SA

Jacquay Howard, 31, charged with capital murder

SAN ANTONIO – The second suspect wanted in connection with the double murder that happened at a car wash on Martin Luther King Day is back in San Antonio.

Jacquay Howard, 31, was extradited back to the Alamo City on Wednesday.

Police said Howard, along two other men, opened fire in a gang related shooting that claimed the life of Vontay Price, 22, and Royal Willrich, 30.

"There was a large crowd that was gathered at a car wash on the corner there of the 200 block of New Braungels," said Officer Douglas Greene, San Antonio Police Department. "Suddenly, with my undertsanding, three males approached this crowd and started firing off several rounds."

San Antonio police said Howard and 25-year-old Edwin Joseph are in custody and being charged with capital murder.

Police are still searching for 24-year-old Adrian Perkins, the third suspect in connection with the shooting.
