Interstate 10 at Ralph Fair Road will be closed in both directions all weekend.

The closure will be the last major closure in the project to expand the Ralph Fair Road overpass bridge, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

TxDOT said Sundt Construction will be pouring the concrete for the remaining portion of the bridge deck.

I-10 traffic will exit Ralph Fair Road and re-enter the interstate once past the intersection.

TxDOT said Ralph Fair Road will also be closed between Old Fredericksburg Road and I-10 in an effort to allow traffic on I-10 to flow more freely.

The closures will begin Saturday at 4 a.m. TxDOT said the roadways should reopen by early Sunday, but motorists should be prepared for construction to last until Monday morning.

TxDOT said the project is expected to be completely finished by the end of the school year.
