2 men in critical condition after car flips over I-35 ramp

Driver speeding to exit loses control, crashes

SAN ANTONIO – Two men are in critical condition after the car they were riding in rolled off an Interstate 35 ramp Sunday morning.

Police said the driver was speeding down I-35 South near South Frio Street when the driver tried to exit and crashed into a cement barrier.

The impact caused the driver to skid nearly 75 feet before rolling off the ramp and landing upside down in a fire station fence line, police said.

Both men were taken to University Hospital with head injuries and in critical condition.
