Man shot 3 times, in critical condition

Shooting happened in the 5900 block of Fairwood St.

SAN ANTONIO – Police are left with a lot of unanswered questions after a man was found shot three times on the city's Southwest Side.

The shooting happened around 6 a.m. Sunday in the 5900 block of Fairwood Street.

According to authorities the man was shot in his shoulder, leg and stomach. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

Police said the man was very uncooperative when asked is he knew who shot him.

Police believe the incident may have stemmed from a drug deal gone bad. 

Investigators found drug paraphernalia at the scene but no drugs.

The man has not yet been identified, but police did say he is Hispanic.

He remained at University Hospital Sunday evening in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
