The Bachelor Blog: Love found in Iowa plus shocker about next Bachelorette

This "Bachelor" junkie knows I was not alone as I eagerly waited to see who would be left standing on the finale of Season 19.

Farmer Chris Soules' quest for love came down to this moment. Would he choose Whitney or Becca? Before any decision could be made, it was time to meet the family.

Whitney was up first, and instantly won their hearts. They loved the fact she is ready to be a wife, and eager to start her life with Chris. She teared up as she told them how much she loved him.

Next up, Becca. The time she spent with his family was drastically different. While they smiled and laughed, it was clear his loved ones had their reservations. Becca had not said the three magic words, and made it clear she doesn't know if or when she would be ready to move to his hometown of Arlington, Iowa. Despite the risk, there is no doubt she has a piece of his heart.

Before he could make a final decision, Whitney and Becca had one last date.

As you can imagine, hard questions filled his moments with Becca. While her feelings for him were clear, her doubts and his concerns overwhelmed the conversation. At the end of the night, he was torn about what he was going to do.

His last date with Whitney felt like it was in another world. It almost looked as if they were married as they harvested corn together. This "Bachelor" junkie has to admit their last date was picture perfect. So why couldn't he make up his mind?

As the clock winded down to the final moment, he was filled with uncertainty.

Becca's limo arrives first. After a heartfelt goodbye, she was sent home.

I can't help but think she expected it. She didn't show much emotion during her exit interview.

Whitney was anxious as she approached Chris, but all her worries fell away when he got on one knee and popped the question.  She eagerly said yes and they watched the sunset together.

When all was said and done, it was a pretty boring finale. Chris made the obvious choice, and I hope they live happily ever after.

Part of me thinks I'm a little jaded from the last finale of "The Bachelor."  Juan Pablo was a train wreck. The bizarre things he said caused a firestorm on the internet, and it sure made for some fun TV.

So what's next for Chris and Whitney? Arlington and babies of course. They revealed that and more during the "After the Final Rose" special.

The biggest shocker of the night also came during that special. For the first time in "Bachelorette" history, there will be two!

The 25 men competing will decide who will be a better wife. Their options? Britt and Kaitlyn.

I'm not sure how I feel about this decision. Kaitlyn and Britt both sparked controversy among the ladies, and got "Bachelor" nation talking.

One thing is for sure, it should be an entertaining season. You know I'll be watching!
