SA group raises anti-bullying awareness through art

Local group holds anti-bullying campaign at Pearl

SAN ANTONIO – The United Communities of San Antonio is raising awareness through art.

The group held its annual awards dinner and unveiled a new anti-bullying campaign at the Pearl on Tuesday night called "More Art, Less Bullying."

Local artists got their inspiration from participants of a week-long summer camp.

"From their interviews with these individuals they developed artwork which was reflective of what they heard them say," said Susan Ghertner with UCSA.

The United Communities of San Antonio was established in 1954 and it's dedicated to uniting people in the Alamo City.
