SAN ANTONIO – The Pearl has been a central hub for some of San Antonio's top restaurants but another area of town is growing, Southtown.
Several restaurants now call the area home including, "Feast."
Heading up the kitchen is Chef Stefan Bowers, who's passion for cooking began when he first got married and while in the United States Navy.
Chef Bowers came to San Antonio in 2005 and was one of several new chefs that were hoping to progress the city's food scene.
"To see what it is now and see what it has emerged into is remarkable," said Chef Bowers.
At "Feast," Chef Bowers is all about flavor and his menu has everything for all palates.
"It's really fundamental, driven by really raw fresh ingredients."
