SAN ANTONIO – A man who San Antonio police investigators said strangled his wife is out of jail.
Jonathan Geryk, 24, was released on a $150,000 bond.
Investigators said Jonathan Geryk walked into a police substation March 17 and said he killed his wife.
Bexar County deputies went to the home and found Jonathan Geryk's wife, Katrina Geryk, 24, dead in a bedroom. Authorities said she had been strangled.
Jonathan Geryk reportedly grabbed a deputy's gun from its holster during questioning in an apparent attempt to hurt himself later that day.
He was charged with murder and taking an officer's gun.
