Crime Stoppers to pay up to $5,000 for info that leads to arrest


SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who can give them information that leads to the arrest of a crook who stole some pricey jewelry.

The theft took place sometime between October of last year and this January, when a woman was having work done on her home in the 700 block of East Hildebrand Avenue, police said.

The woman told investigators the 18-carat necklace (pictured above) was stolen from her safe, and mentioned a matching bracelet was also missing. The set was estimated to be worth at least $20,000.

Anyone who may have information on the theft is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (224-7867). Callers may remain anonymous.
