Showers, storms in forecast for Good Friday, Easter weekend

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio area could see wet weather this Easter weekend as a front with showers and possible storms is expected to make its way to South Texas.

KSAT Weather Authority Meteorologist Mike Osterhage said we will start Good Friday like recent mornings with warm temperatures, fog and mist.

However, Mike says we will see a front move through Friday evening which will touch off showers and storms. There is a chance some of the storms could be strong or severe.

Mike says Friday's high will be around 82, but he expects cooler temperatures through the Easter weekend with light rain Saturday and Sunday.

The National Weather Service says there is a 50 percent of showers Saturday with a high near 64.

Sunday's chances of rain are 40 percent with a high in the mid-70s.
