Front brings chance of showers, cooler weather for Easter weekend

SAN ANTONIO – Cloudy skies were over much of South Texas on Friday. A cold front arrived Friday evening, bringing sprinkles and light rain to parts of the area.

As the front pushes through, winds will shift out of the north to northeast.

Cloudy skies will continue throughout the most of the weekend with a chance of showers.

Rainfall totals are estimated to be up to a half-inch in some locations. Many areas will see less than that.

As far as temperatures, highs will be in the mid-60s on Saturday and mid-70s on Sunday, with lows in the mid-50s both days.
