Man arrested in beating, sex assault of teen

Arnold Quintero, 21, held without bond on multiple charges

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County sheriff's deputies arrested 21-year-old Arnold Quintero Friday morning on multiple charges, including sexual assault of a child.

According to the arrest warrant, a 13-year-old girl told county detectives in March that Quintero held her in a "trap" house in late January or early February and punched her in the face multiple times, leaving her nose bleeding and giving her two black eyes.

The victim said Quintero also burned the side of her face with a lighter.

She told investigators that after beating her, he told her to remove her clothes and took nude pictures of her before sexually assaulting her.

The victim picked Quintero out of a photo lineup on Thursday.

Quintero was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual performance by a child and assault of a child. The first two charges are first-degree felonies.

He is currently in the Bexar County Jail without bond.
