Man killed in south Bexar County crash

BCSO: Driver missed curve, lost control of vehicle

SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after a late night crash in south Bexar County. 

According to the Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around  11:30 p.m. Saturday off Greenwood near Trawalter. 

They say the man was driving on Greenwood when he missed the curve and lost control of his vehicle. 

Investigators say he went through a fence, struck a tree and flipped. They have not said what led to the crash, but believe the driver was speeding.

They are also investigating whether alcohol could have been a factor.

The victim died at the scene. No one else was injured.
