Texas State police: 'All clear' given after initial 'shots fired' alert

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State University Police Department has issued an "all clear" notice after initially issuing an alert around 9:30 a.m. for possible gunshots on the San Marco campus.

The police department posted on its Twitter account around 10 a.m. that normal on-campus activities may resume.
