SAN ANTONIO – The first ever U.S. vs. Mexico soccer match in the Alamo City has been sold out for a month and fans from north and south of the Mexican border are purchasing up everything they need to cheer for their team.
Soccer World is one store that is prepared for the game, by increasing their product order for Mexican gear by 10 times.
The game begins Wednesday at 7:30 and fans are getting ready.
"It's been really chaotic. Once we found out Mexico was coming we put in booking from Mexico product because for us, Mexico sells a lot more," said Arcelia Martinez with Soccer World.
Soccer World employees want fans to know they are selling more than just then U.S. jerseys.
"It's going to be awesome, can't wait to wear it," said Adrianna Dominguez who will be attending her first soccer match.
Fans are hitting the shelves for everything from hats and flags to newly made T-shirts, they're taking it all.
"We ran out of everything, started getting creative and making our own T-shirts," Marinez said.
Nick Langella the Alamodome general manager says he is happy about the match-ups.
"Not too many facilities have the honor of having this event," Langella said.
