SAN ANTONIO – Funeral arrangements for Pearsall Officer Mike Villarreal, who was killed in an accident over the weekend in Atascosa County, have been set.
The Pearsall Police Department said a rosary will be held Friday evening at Porter Loring Mortuary downtown on McCullough beginning at 7 p.m.

A funeral procession will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at Porter Loring, with a funeral mass to be held at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church on North Saint Mary's.
Villarreal was killed while transporting a juvenile when his patrol car was hit head-on. Villarreal was the only one killed in the wreck.
Department of Public Safety officials said the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
