Crime Stoppers asks for help identifying robber


SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a Subway restaurant robbery on the city's Northwest Side.

San Antonio police said the suspect walked into the Subway located at 3953 Fredericksburg Road and pulled out a gun on April 4.

Investigators said the suspect pointed the handgun at workers and then demanded money.

The man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the register and ran off, police said.

It's unknown if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The man was wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts, and a black baseball cap.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information which leads to an arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
