Police seek insurance agency robber

New Braunfels company robbed at gunpoint

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – New Braunfels police are asking for help in finding a man who they said robbed an auto insurance agency.

Police investigators said the man robbed the Freeway Insurance Services office in the 800 block of South Seguin Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

The man flashed a black semi-automatic handgun, demanded cash from an employee and fled with the money. He was last seen heading in the direction of Comal Avenue on foot.

The robber is described as wearing a gray hoodie with a blue bandana over his face, blue jeans with a large tear in the right leg, a dark belt and skater-style shoes that are dark in the front and lighter in the back.

Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or grand jury indictment.
