Man sought in Moroccan restaurant robbery


SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for help in identifying a man who they said broke into and robbed a Moroccan restaurant on the city's Northwest Side.

Police investigators said the man burglarized the Moroccan Bites restaurant in the 5700 block of Evers Road around 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 29.

They said he used a hammer to shatter a window, then crawled in over the broken glass.

Investigators believe the man may have injuries to the stomach and lower body caused by crawling over the broken glass.
