SAN ANTONIO – An argument at a Southwest Side home led a machete attack late Tuesday night, San Antonio police said.
Officers responded to a reported cutting just after 11 p.m. at a home on Bradley Street.
When they arrived they found a man soaked in blood with cuts to the left side of his neck and shoulder area, according to an SAPD preliminary report.
The victim told police he was at the suspect's house on Palo Alto Road when the suspect became angry with him for an unknown reason, grabbed a machete and attacked him with it.
The victim escaped and ran to his home nearby so his neighbors could call police and paramedics, the report stated.
The victim was transported to University Hospital by in serious, but stable condition.
Officer's went to the home on Palo Alto and took the suspect into custody.
The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the report stated.
