Man killed in drive-by shooting on South Side
Victim gunned down outside home on Dullnig Court
SAN ANTONIO – A man was fatally shot during a drive-by on the far South Side late Tuesday night.
San Antonio police responded to a report for shots fired around 10:30 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Dullnig Court.
SAPD officials said a 21-year-old man was shot multiple times outside the home and pronounced dead at the scene.
A red pickup truck believed to be used in the drive by shooting was later found burned in the 1300 block of Chavaneaux Road, SAPD officials said.
Officers determined the truck had been stolen and a driver was not located.
SAPD investigators have not released an official motive, but believe the incident could be connected to another case that happened on Jan. 17 where two men were fatally shot outside a Southeast Side sportsbar.
In that case, an alleged shooter was tracked down and arrested at a home in the 200 block of Dullnig Court.
The victim in Tuesday night's shooting has not been identified.
