$10K reward offered in New Braunfels woman's slaying

Samantha Miranda, 23, found shot to death in front of Lonestar Fiberglass Pools

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the death of a New Braunfels woman.

The body of Samantha Miranda, 23, was found on the sidewalk in front of Lonestar Fiberglass Pools on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels on Thursday morning.

New Braunfels police said she was shot to death.

"We are all still pretty much in shock," said Kim Miranda, a family member, said Thursday evening at a vigil held in Samantha Miranda's memory. "We just can't believe that it was Samantha. Everybody was just beyond words. It's a horrible way to find out on social media."

New Braunfels police detectives are looking for any tips on Samantha Miranda's recent activity leading up to her death.
