Woman assaulted, robbed in King William District

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are on the lookout for the person responsible for a violent robbery early Monday morning near the King William District. 

SAPD officials said the victim was in the 1000 block of South Presa near Berkshire Avenue when she was attacked just before 2 a.m.

Police said the suspect assaulted her and fled on foot with her purse. The woman was treated on the scene for a broken nose, police said. 

The suspect was not immediately located.
