Bachelorette Blog: Laughter, shocking goodbye fill Episode 3

Kaitlyn Bristowe is officially "The Bachelorette" and eager to begin her quest for love.

I have to admit I was not always on #TeamKaitlyn, but she is growing on me. There is something contagious about her personality. My fingers are crossed she finds what she's looking for.

Meanwhile, Britt is devastated her journey has come to an end. But all is not lost. Brady (the contestant who left before the first rose ceremony) is not giving up on her.

When he showed up at her hotel room, she embraced him with open arms. Later, we see them smiling and enjoying life together. He even asked her to be his girlfriend.

Back at the bachelor mansion, the men waited on edge for the first date card. Little did they know the group date would be a boxing lesson with Laila Ali. After a little training, they stepped into the ring to fight each other. Jared was dealt a tough blow and sent to the hospital.

Later that night, Kaitlyn received a mysterious note telling her to go outside. She was excited to see Jared waiting and they shared a romantic kiss. When all was said and done, Ben Z. made the biggest impression and received the group date rose.

Clint was all smiles on his one-on-one date. He got a rose after a steamy underwater photo shoot. It's clear the chemistry is there, but do they have what it takes to go the distance? Honestly, I wish he would have shown a little more personality. I wonder if he'll be able to keep up with her.

The second group date was all about the laughs. Comedian Amy Schumer helped the guys prepare a little improv.

Amy was not impressed by JJ's cocky, know-it-all attitude. Then it was time for the men to show off their skills. I don't know if it was sheer exhaustion, but I could not stop laughing during Tony (the healer's) improv.

It was so awkward, and I almost felt bad for him. For the rest of the date, every time he spoke I couldn't stop laughing.

Everything he said was over the top and completely ridiculous. Meanwhile, I don't think I was the only one who was shocked when JJ got the rose at the end of the date. I hope Kaitlyn sees his true colors soon.

Fireworks flew during the cocktail party. Even though JJ already had a rose, he was the first to steal Kaitlyn away. This ruffled a lot of feathers and infuriated the other guys.  There's no doubt he's the most hated man this season.

The most controversial moment of the episode came during Kaitlyn's alone time with Kupah. He questioned how she felt about him, and it caught her off guard.

After some brutally, awkward moments, she told him she needed time to think.

Kupah didn't waste any time telling the other guys about their conversation. Kaitlyn overheard everything then pulled him aside to send him home.

Needless to say, he did not handle it well and freaked out during his exit interview.

Kaitlyn overheard the confrontation yet again, then ran outside to see what was happening. That's when we were left with a "to be continued" teaser!

Be sure and tune in Monday night on KSAT 12. You know I'll be watching!
