SAPD: Woman stabs boyfriend during argument

Police investigate stabbing on N. Elmendorf Street

SAN ANTONIO – A woman stabbed her boyfriend during an argument early Thursday morning on the West Side, San Antonio police said.  

SAPD officials said the stabbing happened just after 1 a.m. in the 2500 block of N. Elmendorf Street near W. Woodlawn Avenue. 

Police said the couple was arguing when the woman stabbed the man twice in the shoulder and once in the stomach.

The boyfriend was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. The woman taken in for questioning. 

Police continue to investigate what led to the stabbing and have not said if the woman would be charged.
