SAPD: Victim hospitalized in stable condition, driver not expected to face charges

SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized after he was struck a pickup truck late Monday night just northwest of downtown San Antonio.  

According to a witness, the man was sitting at a bus stop at Gardina Street and Vance Jackson Road around 9:20 p.m.

The man left the bus stop and ran across the street for an unknown reason, and was then struck by the driver of the truck, San Antonio police said.

He was transported to University Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the truck was not expected to face charges, SAPD officials said.
