76 immigrants found in stash house in Edinburg

Immigrants in good health


EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley apprehended 76 undocumented immigrants at a stash house Monday night in Edinburg.

According to a news release, the immigrants were reported to be in good health. 

Twenty-two of them were from Honduras, 18 from Mexico, 17 from Guatemala and El Salvador and two from Ecuador.

They were transported to the Weslaco Border Patrol station for processing.

The Hidalgo County Constables Office and information obtained from interviews led agents to the stash house.
