Partida was riding with a female passenger around 1 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed in the 2900 block of Rakowitz Road near Adkins.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman James Keith said the motorcycle was southbound when the bike left the road, hit a concrete culvert and flipped.

Both passengers were thrown from the motorcycle and Partida died at the scene.

Partida's passenger, a woman believed to be in her early 20s, was flown to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious injuries.

Neither was wearing a helmet, Keith said.

Sheriff's deputies are investigating what caused Partida to lose control of the motorcycle.
