Police continue search for gunman in New Braunfels woman's murder

Samantha Miranda, 23, found May 21 with fatal gunshot wound


NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Police continue searching for the person responsible for the death of a New Braunfels woman on May 21.

According to New Braungels police, a call was made to their department around 12:45 a.m. that shots were fired in the 900th block of Interstate 35 along the southbound access road.

Police said they arrived to the sidewalk in front of LoneStar Fiberglass Pools to find Samantha Miranda, 23, with a fatal gunshot wound.

Detectives are now searching for any tips about the crime.

The Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering an award of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
