SAN ANTONIO – Update: University Hospital officials notified KSAT 12 News on Friday morning that relatives of the man have been located.
University Hospital officials said social workers are asking the public's help in finding family members or friends of a man who was critically hurt after being struck by a vehicle.
The man, who is believed to be in his late 20s, was seen walking in the 7700 block of Potranco Road at West Military Drive when he was hit by a vehicle, officials said. He was taken to the hospital Tuesday by San Antonio EMS.
The man is listed in critical condition and is unresponsive, hospital officials said. No form of identification was found.
Officials said the man has several tattoos, including one of a football with wings on his upper right arm, and another of a cross with the letters "F" and "K" on the upper left arm.
He is described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.
