SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a shooting on the city's East Side that left a man dead and three men on the run.
The shooting was reported around 9:20 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Nolan and New Braunfels near a Handy Stop gas station.
Investigators said the victim was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim got into an argument with three black men who were in a white car before several shots were fired by someone in the vehicle, San Antonio police Officer Doug Greene said.
Greene said there were multiple shell casings found at the scene, but police had not receieved any reports of any other people being shot.
The victim's name has not been released, but Greene said the victim was a black male in his 30s.
Greene said investigators are looking into whether the store has any surveillance cameras that may have captured the shooting.
