Remains of SA man found in Nueces County, officials say

KRIS-TV: Body of Jeremy Lee Carrico, 33, found inside plastic container on farm

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The remains of a man from San Antonio were discovered in a grain field in Nueces County, Nueces County sheriff's officials say.

A farmer discovered the remains of Jeremy Lee Carrico, 33, on June 17 in a field west of Robstown on County Road 38.

The farmer found Carrico's body stuffed inside a black plastic container that was four feet long and about two feet wide, Corpus Christi's KRIS-TV reports.

KRIS reports that investigators told them Carrico's body had not been there very long.

The sheriff's office is investigating Carrico's death as a homicide.
