Bachelorette Blog: Dramatic exit, 'intimate' date in Episode 7

I was so anxious going into Episode 7 of "The Bachelorette!" (Last week, Ian blindsided Kaitlyn when he pulled her aside during the cocktail party. He told her she was superficial and just wanted to make out with a lot of guys on TV.)

Needless to say, Kaitlyn did not back down and basically threw his words back in his face! I don't think he expected to see her fiery side.

To top it off, I feel like he evaded her questions. What a weasel! His cockiness and arrogance got the best of him and it was time for him to hit the road.

The most shocking moment came during his exit interview, when he said he was "destined" to be the bachelor. He added women would come crawling out of the woodwork to be with him because he is so deep and intellectual. Seriously? I don't know what world he's living in.

Meanwhile, Nick swooped in to rescue the damsel in distress. During their heart-to-heart conversation, the other men were upset about their lack of alone time with Kaitlyn.

It was awesome to see The Alamo as the backdrop for the rose ceremony. At the end of the night, two men did not survive the battle and were sent home.

Next stop for the love birds, Dublin, Ireland.

Nick got the first one-on-one date. They strolled through the streets and couldn't keep their hands off each other. I actually think they spent the majority of their time kissing.

No surprise he got a rose, then she invited him to her hotel room.

After their night of romance, Kaitlyn was anxious about how the other men would react. I can't help but think maybe she should have thought about that first.

Back at the hotel, Nick told the guys he was invited back to her room, but he didn't share the extent of their intimacy.

I definitely think Kaitlyn should be honest with the guys and fess up. Can you imagine? She'll be in a world of trouble if they find out from someone else.

"I regret to inform you Kaitlyn is dead, for today." That's how Chris Harrison introduced the group date. The guys had to share their thoughts about her during an Irish wake.

Did I mention she was laying a coffin listening to it all! One-by-one the guys opened up about their feelings. Once again, Jared swept her away and he got a rose. Shawn didn't take it well, and felt like he was getting mixed signals.

After lots of questioning and self-doubt, he met with Kaitlyn alone. But what does he have to say? We have to wait until next week to find out. Be sure and tune in Monday night on KSAT 12.
